RE: Intersecting with model
Is the same thing ... like you see here: http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/3159/facesj.jpg

Its usually more reliable to use this script: http://www.smustard.com/script/MakeFaces on your line work rather than trying to intersect it with a plane.

Intersecting with model
Hello there. After i've tried 30 times to login into my account, i remain calm. So: I am working on a new 3D on SkethUp. I imported dwg file from Autocad, the plan is group, i've made under the plan a surface, i made a right click "intersect with model" iafter that i exploded the plan and i "intersected" again. Ok.... Aftar all of this, i have a really big problem. There are not all the surfaces intersected with that surface and is take very long time to make rectangular surfaces on the same lines to intersect them.
First of all escuse my english, second: i hope you understand my problem (there is a tool plugin something to fix this?) and the third thing: thank you very much and i am waiting vey quick the answer because i am in a rush. Thank you very much again. -
RE: Kitchen Sketchup and 3ds Max
I didn't put the materials in sktechup (i put materials in sketchup just to have in max "categories" or.. "layers" - how to say....). Now i'm rendering again with more detalis. Stay tune !!
I think, this is my first render "professional"...because from sketch to render took me 3 days. P.S. - Escuse my english
. I'll hope you gonna like it. See you again after i'm gonna put those new renders.

RE: Very stressing problem
@juanv.soler said:
Maybe the half_surface problem is because it is not a proper rectangle, I mean that there are two planes to draw instead of just one.
So check if it is or not.
About the second problem, you must be able to zoom with you wheel in the mouse.
Have you tried it ?Thank you Cornel ( Multumesc ca banuiesc ca esti roman). JuanV.Soler
Wheel in the mouse:) Funny....with this advice must be the answer: "But i don't have a mouse". Thank you anyway.

Very stressing problem
Hello there. Escuse my english, but i am romanian. I have two problems. Please help me. First one: Why, when i want to make a surface doesn't work, or is working but it's making just a half of the surface, like in this picture. And the second problem, how can i zoom to be very very near of the project (house), because i cannot approach to see if there is another line(bad one). ? Thank you very much and please help me.
