I note your comments on Layout. I have always found this a clunky add on as updating the model views was very cumbersome so I have tended to just export images as jpgs. I will give it a try as suggested.

Completely uninstalled and reinstalled - same problem.
What version of OSX are you running?

What do you mean "You really ought to get up to date". I only upgraded to SU8Pro in 2011, its not like the software was redundant or old! Its not an upgrade its a subscription to make $'s.

Sorry I did not resolve this problem and no one in this forum could assist.

I am getting the message "Importer Not Found" when I try to import DXF or DWG files. The files are created by AutoCAD.

I am running Sketchup Pro8 on a Macbook Pro 13" laptop with OSX 10.9.2 Maverick recently installed. Worked fine before the installation.

I have:
1 deleted PLISTS and rebooted
2 deleted preferences and rebooted
3 uninstalled and reinstalled Sketchup Pro8

Are there any genii out there before I have to get on the Trimble upgrade conveyor belt to SU 2014?
