RE: Aircraft W.I.Ps
Thanks numbthumb! even though it doesn't have wheels?
Anyways here's another update of the P39.... (pilot by sletch2003 of 3d warehouse) You would probably be thinking, what the hell is a jet pilot doing there?? Well, the pilot signed up, and he's good, yet he prefer wearing jet clothes...

RE: Aircraft W.I.Ps
Even though I finished the boeing 247 about a week ago I'd like to post this one first. After I found the cause of my EEbyRails problem, I decided to test it on my new plane. So, this P-39 Airacobra is made off EEbyRails mesh, and now I'm working on the colour for this thing. Enjoy!

i guess i should note that my problem was caused by a sketchy physics conflict, i changed my version of sketchy physics and now everything is great!
TIG, I confirm this. Sketchyphysics is the plugin that's clashing with EEbyRails

RE: Help for another newbie!! please
Hi manitouguy,
I'm the writer of that aircraft tutorial, and no, you don't need cross-sections to build planes, just 3 views. Cross-sections are needed if you want to be accurate. Yes, you need to download the weld plugin if you want it to be accurate. Firstly, outline the side view and then outline the front view fuselage. Then, group and lock the side view outline. After that weld the front view fuselage outline. Then, move the front view outline to the side view outline. Then, copy it to every endpoint of the side view outline except the last endpoint on the back. After that, move the endpoints on the blue axis so that it connects to the side view outline. Then, unlock and eexplode the side view outline group. After that, just mesh it by connecting the endpoints with lines.

RE: [Plugin] Extrude Edges by Rails
Hi TIG,
Yes you're right EEbyRailsbyFace doesn't work, neither does EEbyFace and EEbyRails. The rest of the tools work. Anyways here's the video showing that ruby console message and how it appears: http://www.screencast.com/users/ultimatezod/folders/Jing/media/195fc564-1b26-4762-9450-106d31ce4499

I really like this model, very cool concept.
If you want to share the model I can make it available for a 'render this' challenge for all to try using different render apps.
Whow I feel very honoured. What's the meaning of this challenge. Do you know, what program can I use for the lights. How can I post the model.?
Hi sketchnl,
You post the model using the upload attachment bar at the bottom of the posting page.

RE: [Plugin] Extrude Edges by Rails
Hi TIG,
Still doesn't work for me, tried just about everything you said. Although, only the EEBR and EEBRbyFace doesn't work. All the others work.
