funny

Hi Dirk, it's a really well done work,
I'm curious about your workflow, what's done in SU and what with rendering engine or postpro etc.
I could make just a comment, if the final use is the building's presentation perhaps environment, flares and blur effects divert attention from the subject.
Cheers
Luca
an interior scene, the model is from SU warehouse, made by Surya Murali (she shared a lot of nice interiors!). just some adjustement to materials and rendered with KT, MLT+BPT method 130 passes.
C&C welcome
Just read it, it's a really bad news for all europeans who works in IT.
If you agree with me please share it
I think if I saw this in 3D coming out from the screen I could drop dead
Hi, delineator
nice work, I like it although has too dark tones for my taste. in terms of improvement I think it needs some smoothed edges expecially in the sofa and also a noise reduction eg with neatimage.
..and of course.. great movie
nice one, Dale!
it deserves some improvements, starting from a better lighting and higher render settings. A guitar you can show to guitarists is a difficult modeling work and I see you've done very well but a closer view (or a higher size) is needed to appreciate the details. looking forward next updates

Kerkythea can do, setting camera projecton to 'speherical'. other engines I don't know...
very strict comment rick
okay I'll reveal the truth : the palms are plastic shilouettes so they can stand up on every terrain
As I wrote, the model is not mine, but I've to admit that I didn't noticed those oddities, the scene seemed charming and all details went overlooked

You kidding me
It won't be translated I suppose.
online translators failed
, someone of good will could do it for me
thanks to Scott and Majid, in fact I didn't manage the materials so much, so I was surprised myself that somehow it looks so good. yours it's more accurated, but I still haven't found a good sea material that provides also blueish depth color without fake surfaces like mine, I believe it's surely possible but expensive in terms of rendering time...

OMG WTF?!?!
WHY IS IT ON WATER???
[mind not co-operating with eyes atm]

sorry, really I've not understood a word

I can almost see the Barracuda in the water..
Good idea Eric, next time ... why not?
hi dirt, rendering buildings (and generally exteriors) can easily give you some satisfaction with kerkythea, since you'll get good results without spending much time... but absolutely put a railing on that stair
thank you both, indeed the subject could be funny for a 'render this', but this model needs a few improvements to be ready also for closer shots.
@dspace: if you knew how this water is a bad material...
as today is very cold here, I just played with this quick scene
I know, there a lot of issues... anyway crits are welcome

this last one has a lighting that doesn't convice me, in terms of realism, it's like the objects were matched...
btw say your sister beware of that lamp! it's just at head highness
not here too, please Kim
, these days 90% post on facebook in italy talk about that.
anyhow this one is too funny, great Chuck.

would love to have those jade mats.
truely? i was sure there were one into the translucent material pack, but is called gum...
perhaps for a cheap figurine it's good enough
P.S. better those pictures than warhol
