Shadow String Fix doesn't solve the problem.

RE: Animation Export. How to stop the return to the first scene?
Okay, that was easy, simply uncheck loop to starting scene in export options! Shame Sketchup doesn't have a more efficient, multicore, video encoder.

Animation Export. How to stop the return to the first scene?
I'm trying to export a high resolution and frame rate animation of one transition, of the shadows cast from sunrise to sunset, but it always returns to the first scene, wasting time. How can I stop it from rendering the return transition? Thanks

Perfect Gai, your model made life easier. Scenes and layers are dead easy!

Thanks for your responses everyone. I haven't used layers or scenes yet, so here goes...

Is there a function to cycle through different groups?
I'd like to present many design variations within sketchup. Is there a way to easily cycle through different models on the fly?
For example. I'm designing an extension, but would like to quickly, and easily, cycle through several of the designs to compare what they look like. Without having to delete or hide, then replace different options (by dropping them in from a well orgainsed and named directory then orientating them into position, therefore needing all the the axes synced etc).
Surely this would be a relatively simple plugin? If so, designing a modular house, with all the variations for each modular group loaded within the same save file, you'd be able to present every combination and discuss them very easily. Which strikes me as a very powerful feature. Better still, within each of the modular groups, have yet more variability.
