Would it be possible to make the tools display as 3d text instead of 2d Text?

Is there a way to convert text that is mad either with the long/lat tool or the dimension tool and making this text visible when you upload your image into Google Earth? Basically I have to take and place product onto a map and then i have to show the measurements from a road so that the owner knows were this product will be placed. But with the tools I am using the measurements don't go over into Google earth. (the reason i bring them into Google earth is to display larger areas and also different locations with our product across the world).

Edit: Would it be possible to change these tools to just display 3d text instead of the 2d text? IDK if this matter but i am running SU8.

Thanks there seems to be multiple .rb files that have names of the buttons. So if I run them I should get the button thanks for the help.

Im looking to make a button that will add a custom object that I have made. I am currently running SU8 and some one in my company (no longer here) made a button that did this. But I want to move to sketchup 2014 unfortunately I cant seem to figure out how to add this button. I see the box on your toolbar editor that allows you to add in ruby code but I'm not a programmer. I don't know if any one has made a button like this and would be willing to share there ruby code would help out allot.

I dont know if this is important but I also have to be able to move/edit parts of this object once it has been placed.

I have found the custom toolbar editor from the EW now I just need to find the ruby coded needed to add in a pattern. Any advice on where I could find some good tutorials or possibly the ruby code to make a button that adds a specific pattern?

I was using SU 8 to see if SU would work for my companies need. But would like to use the more resent 2014 version however I have several custom buttons that I have made and added to the tool bar. Is there a way to add custom button onto a tool bar not just the dragging of buttons to a custom tool bar but actual custom buttons?

Well we actual found that if you make the outline by material it dose what we wanted it to in that you can make a line a different color and in turn make your text a solid color at any zoomed out or close up level.

OK i have a simple issue that seems to be hard to fix. The company I work for is looking to use Sketchup for editing maps in junction with Google earth. But i am unable to get lines drawn using the line tool to be thicker and a different color without making the outlines of all my other objects also thicker and another color I'm not sure if there is a plugin to fix this or an easy fix I have failed to find. I would also like to either hide or change the color of the outline for 3d text sense the normal text box will not port to Google earth.
