Hey gang, I recently got a subcontractor job doing sketchup models for a new home builder, and now he's asking me for a house illustration to be used for advertising purposes. I don't have any samples of what I've shown him on me right now, but what I'm looking for is inspiration. Have any of you guys done work like this that you can show me? I want to get the right "look", to really wow people and sell houses. This will be the first look people get at this line of homes and I want it to be impressive. My rendering skills are minimal, SU skills are decent, and my PS skills I would say are high.

I'd appreciate any help you can give me, even if it's just links to good websites.

Hi Eric,I am just getting into using SU for kitchen designs, and was excited to see this post and some YT videos, only to find out I'm already subscribed to your channel! I need to watch more of your videos, but I have a question for you. I posted in another thread that I'd like to edit the cabinet door in a DC to make it a glass insert, but I don't know how. Also, if I have a collection of cabinets, can I have that door available for all the sizes?

Hi gang, I'm new to the forums. I've tried taking in as much info as possible but I think my brain is full. I've played with SU for a couple of years on and off, but now I want to use it much more. I'm a kitchen designer, and tired of 20-20. I found and like sketchdata's cabinets on the warehouse, but would like to change the raised panel doors to a glass insert, preferably with the option of mullions. I have SU Pro, but have no clue how to edit the DC. Is there an easy way to just change the material to glass and save it as a door style so I could use it for all cabinet sizes?
