Ok Martin Ive started the tutorial and my first problem is when I do a file import and type in the file name, I keep gettingImage file invalid. Ive saved both the stairway and the basement as a .skp in the same folder in my docs.Any clues?
      Cheers Steve

Ok It works now ๐Ÿ˜„ I had files of type > all supported types clicked when trying to import instead of files of type > .skp
I knew I would get there eventually ๐Ÿ˜†

I fixed it by copying the stairway and pasting it into the basement

    • Hi

      Hi all
I want to be able to use Sketchup proficiently. Im looking for proper architectural design tutorials or examples (real world)as opposed to a this is how you draw a little house etc type tutorial, which i can kind of do.
Im fairly new to Sketchup but I have used Autocad for a while and did a 6 month city and guilds course in 2d and 3d Autocad last year. Ive learnt a bit of Revit also but my students license has run out on both and I cant use them any more.
Ive no real imagination when it comes to drawing/designing or detailing buildings at the moment and I know some of you do this stuff for a living so I need your help ๐Ÿ˜„ .Thanks in advance
      Cheers Steve
