RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
Now that i tested it, it tells me the same message as before except is says "plugins/defaul-settings.igs.
Failed to open file line 0, column 0."
This is strange, and sorry for all the questioning but this is reaaly strange:D -
RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
Alright thankyou, i understand what your saying but i dont see it anywhere.
-
RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
Also, is it important that i ONLY put the indigo.exe into the plugins folder, because i just took the whole "indigo_v1.0.9..."folder into the plugins folder. But the SkIndigo and the SUpreviews are both in the plugins folder as well.

RE: Installing Indigo Renderer

Thaankyou -
RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
Maybe you can try for yourself, download it and see if its there?
thank you -
RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
The defaults.igs is not there.
Should i download indigo again and see if the file is there, because i really dont see it.
Maybe its somewhere else? -
RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
Ok..i didnt notice that i had 32.bit operating system.
so i downloaded the 32.bit one rather than the 64.bit. So when i press redner the Indigo pops up and tells me
"Fatal Error.
Failed to open XML Doc from path C:Program files/.....Plugins/defaults.igs.
Failed to open file."
I did a scan of my files ..again.. and no defaults.igs. Is it ANOTHER download that i have to make, or do u just make the defaults.igs? I wont do anything until i get reply because i dont want to mess everything up.
Thank You! -
RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
Just now i actually found a renders folder but its no in "program files...." actually its where the "indigo.exe" is, but even after i rendered my file, nothing there:S
thought this info would give more details.
thank you! -
RE: Installing Indigo Renderer
Thx guys, i downloaded the Indigo core and its working now!
Although when i render it exports the image to "C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 6/Plugins/renders".
The logical thing to do would be to go to program files, open google folder, google sketchup folder, plugins folder and then...renders folder...i dont have a renders folder! Is it not a folder, but i dont see anything that says "renders"
If you have had the same problem before please tell me how you fixed it:D
How come it all has to be complicated.... -
Installing Indigo Renderer
In The file "Installation" file that comes with the program it says:
"INSTALLATIONThis version of SkIndigo is to be used with Indigo 1.0.9 (1.0 stable)
- Remove any previous versions of SkIndigo from your SketchUp/Plugins directory
- After unzipping the file you downloaded, you should have a file called 'Skindigo.rb', a folder called 'SkIndigo', and another folder called 'SUpreviews'
- Copy 'SkIndigo.rb' into your SketchUp/Plugins directory
- Copy the 'SkIndigo' folder into your SketchUp/Plugins directory
- Copy the 'SUpreviews' folder to your Indigo directory
- Run SketchUp"
So I "Extract" the folder, put the 'Skindigh.rb' into the 'Plugins' folder in my SketchUp folder. The I put the 'SkIndigo' folder in the 'Plugins' folder. Then i put the 'SUpreviews' folder into the 'SkIndigo' folder. I start SketchUp. It tells me to locate 'Indigo.exe'. Where do i find this? I did a scan of my files, not there. Is it an additional download?
Any help appreciated.

Need help with textures please!
Hi everyone!
I am new to sketchup, but i already have the basic knowledge. In 3D Warehouse there are textured that you can download. All i get is a sketchup file with a 3d block with squares on it. I know those each of thoses squares is a texture but how to i use it is my question. I need to export it into my other file, that would help to!
Thank You for your help who ever helps!
