i still use 6, but opera as my main browser
I just had a new computor built for me so i could get a project done in time... did it, but had to take the tower home for some weekend work!
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz with HT tech
Memory: 2046MB DDR3 corsair RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 512.0 MB
gotta say it works like a dream for SKP, but other things that can actually use multi procs are a bit slower... AutoCAD 2010 im looking at you you pice of RAM hoggin VM sucking piece of c***
you should look at some of the works and ideas of neil spiller too... architecture for a post-digital age
incredible work
will you not want the kitchen to lead onto the patio tho, even if you're cooking with bbq you still need access to fridge and implements no?
what goes in the 'dwelling' room? its tricky to crit without a gen layout, but the kitchen looks a bit of a funny shape, it does tend to be where people gravitate too, maybe consider moving it closer to the dining/living rooms and openign it up a bit.
are you going to consider natural ventilation, cos the sticking up bit in the middle of your house (shown on elevs) would be good for it
is it something in particular? i prefer the first to the one with those tiled roofs... try making the facade more interesting, bring some features off center, beauty is in details!
i cant see any difference between this and whaaats tbh
why did you stop at just vertical gardens? why didnt you go for a complete green solution, green roof and drop the whole building down into the ground some?
whens the final crit?
i get around the problem by making the curve more curvey thani need it, then intersect a plane through so its cutoff after 180 degrees rotation... its a work around, but it works!

Well, I've got about 80% of the math figured out. But thats only about 20% of the script. but here's a little video to show it in action.
There is no sound.
Chris
this looks amazing!
i must say, i think what you're trying to do is a fantastic idea, and one that i think is quiote originally and has massive potential! good luck, and you've got some lovely images on there
this will indeed be an incredibly useful plugin! when doublecutting, will it make a permenant cut, or will it just make the intersecting faces hidden?
because this would then allow you to move the windows about, and as you moved them the wall would hide before them and then heal behind...
this will be so useful fo old skool windows where they didnt know what symmetry was
arguably you could then output from rhino into 3ds i guess

wierd just after reading this, and going back to modeling, i needed to find a center point of a curve
thanx alot
same for me! yay chris
yes i know this is pre existing, i just thought this was funny, in a sad way
