Thanks for your replies 😄

They didn't work until I thought i'll try pulling on another Axis as such, so I rotated the model, and then I was able to pull the points out ;D

Now just got to get the hang of this method!

thats a very good tip to me too. i used to create handrail by just pin point centre lines, create posts(and paste them in order) and then run the follow me to create railings/balustrades...

My question is, why not? Groups and components are the single most useful time saving feature of SU. Even if I only have one of them in the model I create a component of it. If at a later stage I notice or a mistake or want to change it in some way:

Insert another copy of the component Edit it, sometimes this involves scaling it up 100x Delete it
Any changes made to the copy, excluding the scaling, are reflected in the one within the model and it did not move.

Hi Shipaddict, hi folks.

Normally, 3D text comes in as a component. This component will assume a normal position on whatever flat surface.

However, if you are not sure or you have exploded the text, see attached SU file for ideas.
