I have Created a DC no problem in creation but when I place this Component in different file from component library it always automatically goes toOrigin Axes (0,0,0,) of drawing
the DC has a parametric length Function from 2.5m to 5m.
I will Just attached the file, can any one please guide me.

I Need a help in making a controlling length of an object by using "ScaleTool"

For Example:- A Simple Box whose length should not extended more the 5CM & should not decrease less then 2.5CM by using "ScaleTool"
but the box should have any length between 5Cm ANd 2.5CM.

hi jim i wanna ask you one question i this footing component when i open this file all the every element is different but when i insert this file it is come correctly and also it show the green arrow symbol as DC symbol i could i do that check my file...in same file it shows all parameter but when i insert it in different the file i can't see the parameters.

I have created a Component with some parameter their is no problem in the same file but when I insert that component in different file from component i could not able to see the parameter in component option, to make it visible i need to explode the component

Can any help me I don't want to use explode option.
