This is a sad workaround for a simple and basic drafting tool. I tried doing a copy and scale of the LO object, but the curves don't scale correctly to serve as an offset. I model in SU Pro and detail in LO, this way the model doesn't get bigger than 15 megs (which is still pretty large in my opinion).

What sucks about this workaround is that it creates exponential more work to complete a simply task of offsetting a line in LO. Setbacks like these make me seriously consider going back to AutoCAD and those very mature drafting tools.

   A. These are very useful and don't exist commercially. Some have tried, but only a few manufacturers had done anything for their products.
   B. Manually doing schedules.
   C. Set top of wall and bottom of wall terminations. When plans are cut and viewed in plan view, a wall without a termination (sole plate) does not show up. I have been closing my walls and treating them as groups so that when they are cut the reverse face can be seen as a poché in color plans. Also wall termination to other walls is very hopeful, especially if the terminations are hidden.
