Thanks Ecuadorian, your example was great. So often the small details that make it can be forgotten.

There are some amazing results and I know it going to take some time, and considerable patience. Can struggle with both, but hopefully will get something to be proud of. Keep an eye out, will be after feedback sometime soon πŸ˜‰

      Thanks Remus,

I have ordered a new machine, Intel i7 with 12Gb of RAM. Hopefully this should help a little bit towards things. πŸŽ‰

Have spent a few days looking at the gallery and hope I can get some way near to this level. Going to have a go with some of the free trials and versions of the different renderers out there.

      Thanks again

      Hello,

I have spent a few days on the forum now, and you guys rock.

Everything a new user needs is here, I am going to do my best to follow the advice and see how it goes. Will hopoefully post some results and try to repay the favour with things I have found along the way.

      Hello,

Have been looking in to getting in to rendering, want to get the best results as possible from my sketchup models.

Looking at my budget I want to know what to spend my hard earned money on. Does anybody think it is worth going for 64 bit Windows with more than 4Gb of RAM?

Then getting on to the software, is it worth spending money on some of the more expensive renderers.

      Interested in hearing anybodys opinion.

      Mr C
