It helps to update the style in SU once you make changes.

Layout 3 xray problem
I have a model in SU that I've sent to LO in a certain style that has x ray mode on. In LO when I insert the model it shows the x ray version in vector mode which is what I want as I want to explode the drawing and change the line weight/style, etc. As soon as I double click on the model and get into 3d mode and center the portion of the model that I want to show in LO, the scene calls itself "modified" and I can no longer see the x ray portion of the model. I have done this before (I think) in LO 2 and it worked well. Am I missing something simple in my style settings? Thanks

Layout and Section Planes, again.....
I have created a drawing in SU that has many section planes that i toggle on and off for multiple scenes. when i make each scene i make a new section plane, activate it, hide all other geometry i don't want to show up in my scene and update the scene. i save the file in su, switch over to layout and update reference. it works on the page i am currently working on but also turns the sections off on all the other pages in the layout document. i am working in a style that i setup called "presentation - sections" that has the sections turned on and the views i want. i am sure i am missing something simple here. i am pulling my hair out! thanks.

LayOut Construction Drawing Question
I am trying to draw a set of construction drawings for a timber frame barn I have drawn in Sketch UP. The issue I am having is getting so that I can draw a detail of a typical connection. I want LayOut to show dashed lines for parts of the detail that are inside, i.e. a tenon in a mortise and tenon joint. I have all of the details drawn in SketchUp and want it to transfer to LayOut. I have tried fussing with different styles in LayOut and have had no luck. I also have tried to change the lines I want to show as dashed in Sketch Up. No luck there either. Anyone got any advice?
Thanks
