Hi Everybody,

I'm diving into Vue for the past two days, and I must say that I fel in love with its possebilities. After some great tips from Solo I managed to produce my First Vue render of a Sketchup model. I'm pretty happy with the result. It needs some tweaking, but the workflow is clear now and the possibilities in scenery are endless. Love some feedback on the render and model.

Still Loving Vue So Many options to play with, but to little time Your tips are very helpful and I managed to produce a fearly decent render. ( I will post it tonight ). The only thing I didn't understand was lighting, but I saw that there is an option to convert objects to area lights. I was wondering if it's also possible to make materials to produce light. I saw the options in the material editor effects to make a material glow. But that doesn't produce enough light. I realy hate using pointlights in Vue because i like to place the lighting in SU. Any tips to convert a material to a point light or something?

Thanx for your help on this one. I've noticed and Admire your work in Vue. This was the reason I've always wanted to test Vue. Now I did and I'm Blown away by its many options, but when i made a through a bunch of tutorials i'm beginning to understand and Like Vue. I really love the ecosystem feature. It realy solves the whole scenery problem. Now I have tp practice and practice . I've noticed that there arent't many architectural materials in Vue. Do you know where I can find them. Some more ecosystems would be great to. Thanx for the tips. Hoping to show some Vue renders soon

Are there any good Sketchup to Vue tutorials? Is it possible to use ecosystem on a groundplane exported from sketchup? Or parts of the groundplane? I want to use it to populate the surroundings of a house model. Please help.

I'm looking into Vue because i've always loved the way Vue renders. I was wondering if there are any tutorials of Vue in combination with sketchup? Is it possible to use ecosystem on a specific part of a plane. For example only ecosystem on grass patches of the plane?

I'm planning to buy a new desktop pc, but I was wondering wich Processor is beter for rendering purposes. Can somebody give me advise? I know that the new I7 or an Apple power mac are better but they are not within my budget.

I've been working on some small garden designs. Just for fun and to improve my modeling and rendering. Cause everytime when I see those fabulous renders on this forum and on evermotion I come to the conclusion that there's al long way to go . Put practice makes perfect they say.

On the Twilight site I saw it's possible to export a scene as xml. Does this mean I can assign materials in Sketchup and then render in Kerky? Are the materialsettings put in with Twilight stored when exported to xml?

Hi Everybody,

Is there a way to purge all indigo material settings. I've always liked the way Indigo renders, but I hate the Fatal errors. I've searched the indigo forum for answer bu didn't find it. I cant seem to figure out were the error is in my materials so I want to purge all naterial and UV settings. PLease help

Hi Everybody,

I've been modelling and rendering for a year now and I can see the quality of my work getting better each project. The only thing that i'm struggling with is to achieve realistic lighting. I was wondering wich PP Filters you guys use in Photoshop for architectural projects? Maybe a good idea to make a list of the filters mostly used. Thanx in advance.
