    • RE: Move and click shrinks component

Thanks for the comments. When I selected the "end" of the 1400mm rod and moved it to the new location it worked. Not sure why all of a sudden it worked but I will take it.

    • Move and click shrinks component

Not sure how to explain this, but I'll try. I have a x=400mm by y=400mm by by z=10mm thick section I have stretched to 1400 mm in the z axis. When I try to move this section adjacent to another section the whole 1400 mm moves over to where I want it. Then I click and it instantly shrinks back into the 10mm section I extruded but it is exactly where I want the whole section to be. I undo move and it pops back to its starting point and expands back to 1400mm. Anyone got any ideas about what is goong on?

Thanks. That is what I needed to know. Small problems that are insurmuntable when you don't know the lay of the land.

Great! Would you please post the skp file? There is something I am doing, probably in the setup that I don't understand.

    • Push/Pull stops at dashed line boundary

I am extruding a shape from a vendors skp file. When my push/pull hits 6" of length extenesion the faces stop one after the other, even in edit mode.

Here's what happens as I extrude
