Thanks for the advice perhaps that will be the only solution. Before I do that however, I do have a friend who has a similarly spec'd PC. I may try and install LumenRT on his and load up my model and attempt to export and see if his does the same. If it does not then it looks like a fresh Win 7 is on the cards

RE: LumenRT Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error - PLEASE HELP!!!
Yes I have tried running sketch up as administrator and my user account is administrator anyway. That is what the guy from e-on software initially suggested so I tried it delighted that I thought the problem was that simple but sadly that made no difference

RE: LumenRT Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error - PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi thanks for your reply. I have tried several different installs of C++ versions including the one which is provided within the LRT package. Also, I have tried uninstalling all versions of C++ present on the machine and strangely it still triggers the same error even with not C++ even installed!
I am using SKP 8 Pro and yes have purged all unused. LRT gives you the option to export just the components/entities selected so I have tried selecting just the absolutely vital components and exporting them but still get the same error.

LumenRT Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error - PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi I am soon approaching a major deadline and I am having trouble with LumenRT2. Whenever I export my SKP model to LumenRT I am presented with an error: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information"
It does not happen with very basic models but this model is fairly complex. My machine is very competent (i7 2700k 3.5Ghz 16GB RAM GTX560ti) and breezes through the model in sketchup but when I export to Lumen RT when it reaches about 300 out of 4600 components the runtime error appears and sketchup is forced to quit. I have tried exporting this with my i7 macbook pro. It is also a high spec machine but nowhere near as competent as my PC and does struggle at times to deal with the model in SKP. But it is able to export to LumenRT successfully but when it is done, the mac struggles to run the live cube. I am able to then transfer the live cube to my PC, however, I am not able to then export as animation as it is not the machine it was originally created on.
The fact that I am able to export using my mac proves that it is not because Lumen RT cannot handle large complex models - but it is some sort of other software/driver issue with my windows setup. I am currently in communication with Lee Randall from e-on software however, I have not heard anything from him since a couple of days ago and my deadline is fast approaching. He suggested to run SKP as administrator which had no effect. I also uploaded my model to him using "sendittome.com" for him to have a go at but as I said I have heard nothing from him.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am really getting desperate now
Thanks
Patrick
