Pixero, the lighting you are seeing in the videos is 100% real-time. There is still the option to bake the lighting for even better quality.
In terms of pricing, if you get LumenRT 4 today with maintenance, you will get LumenRT 2015 free.

RE: LumenRT 4
Hi Jay,
Sorry I missed your post. I'm not sure I understand your problem with the underwater lights, but the answer to your question about visible lights is to turn on the light flares in the scene settings.

RE: LumenRT 4 trial issues
Are you able to export simple scenes?
Do you have any other plug-ins that might be conflicting with LumenRT? -
RE: LumenRT 4
You don't need the Publisher to export stills or animations. If you right/long click on the Play movie icon, this brings up the export movie icon. It's also on the Timeline bar.

Deal!
Send me a PM with your e-mail, and I'll have someone prepare a copy for you.
You're a smart businessman

RE: LumenRT 4
dtrarch, can you provide the scene? We haven't found any scenes that crash SketchUp once the Fast export option is disabled.
Thanks! -

No sale here I am afraid.
dtrNo problem!
So, where does it crash? Inside of SketchUp, or is it inside of the LumenRT real-time playback? Your video board should work just fine.
Thanks for getting back.

RE: LumenRT 4
dtarch, did you try disabling the Fast Export option?
Can you tell us what your GPU is (video board)? It's not listed in your system specs above.
Thanks! -
RE: LumenRT 4
dtarch, sorry to hear that. Not sure what size your scenes are, but if they're large, did you try disabling the Fast Export option?
If it crashed in SketchUp, then that option should fix it (you should have had a popup informing you of this fact).
If it's GPU, please detail your GPU.
Also, can you provide one of your scenes so we can see what is going on? Thanks. -
RE: Lumen RT 3, great features
A nice video of a beautiful property created with LumenRT 3:

RE: LumenRT Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error - PLEASE HELP!!!
The problem is caused by the way Ruby handles memory in SketchUp (the problem is Windows only). Ruby runs in a 32 bit process, even if SketchUp itself is running in 64 bit, and if too much memory is allocated inside the Ruby script, Ruby crashes. It's totally unpredictable, and a known issue, apparently
We are circumventing this problem in LumenRT 3 by creating a new (slower) export mode that does not allocate any memory inside of Ruby.
In the mean time, try reducing the size of your scene as much as you can.

RE: Eon Software - Great Company
First of all, thanks for the kind words about e-on and our products.
Kwistenbiebel, can you tell me what platform you are using LumenRT on? Also, does SketchUp crash with all scenes, or only certain specific scenes? If it's only certain scenes, can you send them to me?
Thanks for your help.

RE: LumenRT 2 Released
LOL
Ok, I'll pass the contact info you sent me by PM on to the guys who take care of our beta program. They'll get in touch with you with the required paperwork. Thanks! -
RE: LumenRT 2 Released
LOL Thomthom - you should join our beta team!
To answer your question, it's a generic problem that probably affects a majority of "large" models (in terms of surface area) with low polygon counts - in your case, both of them; But it is the house with the long beams that enlightened our developers It's not a bug, but more a "caveat" in our optimization strategy, that they are rectifying now.
They're working on a fix that should speed things up quite dramatically!
Thanks again!
More later -
RE: LumenRT 2 Released
Thomthom,
Thank you very much for providing the models you sent us. I passed them on to our engineers, and they have been able to identify the cause of the slowdown and are working on a solution. It is the long beams in your model that pointed them in the right direction!
Hopefully, we will have an improved version soonKind regards

RE: Lumen RT Plugin not working
I think it has to do with your browser settings. Not sure, though, sorry.

RE: Lumen RT Plugin not working
Do you have other plug-ins inside of SketchUp? Is JAvascript disabled by any chance? I've heard of possible interactions with JS...
-
RE: Lumen RT Plugin not working
Maybe a bad download. What happens if you have nothing selected in the scene when you invoke LumenRT?
-
RE: LumenRT 2 Released
Do you have an example so show your problem?
-
RE: Lumen RT Plugin not working
Re 32 vs 64 bit: That's not a problem, since LumenRT is launched as a separate application.
I don't understand the cause of your problem.
To clarify, does the LumenRT interface appear inside of SketchUp, when you select it from the plug-in menu or click the LumenRT icon?
