Hello all the participants this forum. My name is Michele (aka Michael) and I'm a 44 years old italian architect from Mestre, a town near Venice.
I've been using Graphisoft ArchiCAD since 1986, while I was attending the university of Venice. Aside being a freelance architect I teach architectural drawing with ArchiCAD to colleagues and students. In the spare time I play synthesizers and compose music.

About Sketchup, I was always fascinated by this piece of software and now, after several years of curiosity, I finally decided to delve into this program.
I'm an absolute beginner and I've just realized a thing: the operating criteria are way different from ArchiCAD ones... And it's quite an effort to learn all those new icons...
Anyway i hope to finnd some help in this forum.
