    • Generate edge from face or hidden geometry

      Hi everybody,

I was wondering how to generate edge from faces or hidden geometry. Actually, I made a followme from a circle with 12 edges on a curve, but it doesn't generate the edges (surface is plain).

So is it possible? I tried to generate edges with the plugin join and push tool, without a real success.

      Best regards,

    • RE: Saving SU pro Interface (profile)

That could be a good solution, indeed.

I'm just asking myself why there is no such options in sketchup's software. Every software of this kind should have this feature in my opinion.

By the way, thank you for the trick,

      David.

    • Saving SU pro Interface (profile)

      Hi everyone,

I was wondering if this is possible to save your interface/menu profile in sketchup just as Autocad with the profile importer/exporter.

I'd like to transfer my windows current positions and my menu organization into a new computer. I tried to transfer the appsdata from user profile in windows (manually) and it didn't work. So if this is impossible to do it with the software, where are these informations stored at?

      Best regards,

      David

    • RE: Adding texture library folder to sketchup

Some answers I've got told me that I got an empty folder because I've image files (jpgs, pngs etc.) and not .skm files (to show preview).

Anyone know a faster way than to add my textures one by one to the library? I've a 60GB database of jpg...

    • 3D components not displaying

      Hi everyone,

      The picture talk by itself

      1. Why half of my components I recently download are just not displaying properly?

      2. Also, I still didn't get an answer about my second problem in which my textures folders are empty in the library material window?

      Thanks,

      David

    • RE: Adding texture library folder to sketchup

      Thanks for replying,

Of course I did it. But my folder looks empty in the library.

And usually I don't need to add from detail button as I'm adding library directly from the preferences. I'm lost a bit.

    • Adding texture library folder to sketchup

      Hi there,

My question is quite simple. I'm browsing to system preference, going under the file tab, choosing a new location to add my library folder which contain my own textures (a pack of 60 GB), but it doesn't seem to be added when I browse the material library window. Tried also to add a new collection then, directly from the windows library, but when I quit application it doesn't come back and I've also no preview of textures displaying (just like if I had an empty folder in my texture library folders).

Seriously I've always used this technique to add a folder library and now it doesn't work (I'm a new user of SU pro)

As you can see on the img, I've added my collection from the material windows (which I normally doesn't need to do when I setup file location in preference system), and my folder seems to be empty when I browse it.

      Any suggestions?

Cause I'm not going to add one by one my hundred of textures in the library, hell no 😉
