Hand drawn illustrations is a broad term. It can be pencil sketch in which case I suggest you play a bit with styles and style builder , then if you mean watercolour or some other effects have a look at some of the works by Grant Marshall or Dennis Nikolaev because that is the best as it gets.
But in any case it is not easy , There is no a click a button solution , just like in classic traditional art it requires a great deal of skill , patience and practice to produce these remarkable digital pieces of art.
In my opinion much more difficult to produce than a good rendering

We have started a Junior forum here some time ago. Maybe the children from your class
would be interested in participating in this Junior forum communicating and exchanging su
models with children their age from all over the world. This would be a good for them
even to improve their English. If they are interested you can contact the board and we

Its good that you mention it because I was thinking about the same thing. The post that you refer
to was from the former Last forum and you are right it was Alan Hook of One Tree Hill production
the exact link you posted. He was a member there and he posted some great images from his project at that time . I have searched for that thread but with no success . Its somewhere down there
probably but I just cant find it.
What I did find were some images from that thread on my external hard disk and I hope he wont mind that I repost them again here.
