    • Lighting trouble from emissive material

hi everyone, i have some problem here...would somebody help me...please
i tried to rendering a room with some cave light using emissive material but im not very satisfied with the result. ive upload the picture...

      http://i56.tinypic.com/rs8tqf.jpg

see that red rectangle...on the left rectangle, the light is more like a fire, but it have a different result when the wall is white, the light is so smooth. *what must i do to make the light smoother on the wall?either in white or black wall?
on the right rectangle...the render result seem so bad, the picture looks like i drawn it with watercolor...what must i do to make it smoother?

      thx πŸ˜„
