Sounds like a fun little project. Interested to see where you take it.

RE: Water in D5
Yeah, I'll agree with Bryan.. maybe a bit too much post processing or something?
Water looks cool though.. is that one of the stock water materials? I really want to try the running water asset they have.... You should give that a shot if you have the time.. keep this scene and keep this viewpoint and have an animation with the running water.

RE: Upholstered furniture
Amazing, as usual. Always love seeing the modeling process.

RE: D5 Render Work
Yes, whatever you change in the model is instantly changed in real time in D5. It will also move the camera around in D5 as you move it in SketchUp. Lumion does the same and I'm sure a bunch of others these days.
Definitely way cheaper than most for the pro. Part of the reason I wanted to try switching. Lumion has moved to a subscription model, as well so if I want to upgrade its like $1200/year vs $380ish for D5.

RE: D5 Render Work
All good points, Liam.. thanks. Definitely still trying to work out the materials. I liked the 'weathering' effect in lumion so I could get away from the finish being totally flat on these painted parts. I'll make some adjustments to that.
Here's my second try on an interior I"m working on.

D5 Render Work
Considering making the jump to D5 Render from Lumion. Feels a little tough at the moment since I have a quick, comfortable workflow in Lumion and can speed through work but I'm going to give it a try.
Here's my first job I've used it for..

RE: House render (Updated)
I'm a big proponent of 2 point perspective.. so I like the first better

RE: SketchUp Diffusion
Gus...would definitely be cool to see the source model, as well. I just installed this too but haven't played with it.
