To keep this project in the same topic is the best i guess. I'm having a bit of trouble with the window. when i put a transculent material on it it don't seem to work as it should. see image attached. any idea what the problem might be ?

A roof like this
For my next challenge i want to make an old cottage, something like the one in this image http://www.foxearth.org.uk/FoxearthPictures/oldcottage2.jpg but how would i make a roof like that. with those 2 things in it. ?
Are there any tuto's for that around ?

Thanks for the tip. I have some free barrels for vue though, i could have used but i wanted to make my own barrel. About the textures you are right, could be better.
I made another render with it just now, so to late for diffrent textures and barrel but i'm sure i will render another one with itEdit, i just purchased those 2 items. So one of these days i will do another one with some of that stuff

Yes i think the back faces when i give it a material in SU that is ok but in vue it aint
