I've tried both methods, but it doesn't worked.

To cut holes in a wall with a group of components I've previously used the function "Intersect with model" and after this deleted the new face, which were above the window hole. But in this specific part of my model this doesn't work.

sorry, but I didn't get what you mean with setting the gluing plane...

and again a question. When I try in following file Gruppe#53.skp to use "Intersect/Cut with model" (I'm not sure whether it's the right name for this function, 'cause I'm using the german version of SU) with the the hole group of my window components and strange things happen. I've also tried to use this function with a window, which wasn't in the group, and nothing happend. I assume that something with the component isn't right.

I hope someone can help me.

I've got a problem and this has to do something with hidden lines, which I can't edit or find anymore. I don't know at which point of time I've hidden the lines, I just know it was when I started to learn how SU works and so I didn't undo this .

So does anybody know how to find hidden lines and edit them????

Hi to all of you,

I've got a problem with my current project. In the model i've got too different shapes on each is a window (as a component). So far everything is fine, holes were cut automaticly and so on. But when I make a group out of the two windows, the holes disappear.

ich habe bei meinem aktuellen Projekt ein Problem: Ich habe zwei Fenster(also Komponente), die auf zwei verschiedenen Flächen liegen. Solange ich keine Gruppe mit den beiden erstelle ist kann ich beide Fenster frei auf der Fläche bewegen und ein entsprechender Ausschnitt folgt. Wenn ich nun eine Grupe erstelle, dann verschwinden die Ausschnitte in den Flächen. Damits deutlicher wird hier ein paar Bilder und gleich die SketchUp Datei dazu:

Ich verwende übrigens SketchUp 6.4.112
