Hi, Dylan: First thing to check would be your graphics card. Is it integrated on the motherboard? Intel integrated graphics processors historically do not perform as well as discrete, separate graphics processors. However, this may not be the problem. I was just mentioning this as a possible issue. Some mobile processors do have the capability for Skecthup and OpenGL.
