I downloaded the plug in findfaces and this worked for most of the faces...not with all but I imagine that there are some problems that some "faces" are not really closed.

The big face behind the 2d lines did not work because the face intersection did not work for some reason.

I am working on a construction detail and created a 2d drawing from a 3d model by converting it into a dwg which I imported then again into sketch up to make some changes in "2d" which would have been harder to draw in 3d. By doing that all the faces are lost. Now I want to apply some materials to it and some hatches. So I need to fill the 2d drawing with faces again to apply the material. There are a lot of curves, not only rectangular geometry. Maybe it is an odd question but how do I create faces from here? Also in layout it is very difficult to apply textures to not-rectangular geometry.
