I am tring to find a professional Skechup designer/Architect that can take drawings of the house I want to build and drape it over the property I plan to build on. I want to be able to walk around the home and look through diffrent windows to see what the view looks like and better plan my home (I hope this is possible...I think it is). This property has an incrediable view and I want the house window placement to take advantage of this. I was also wondering if it is possible to show how the sun would look at diffrent times of the year to plan for window covers/Drapes. It would be great if I could find someone local (Somewere close to Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington).

I am new to using Sketchup and would like too know if anyone else has had problems with trying to make Window and Door openings using a touch pad rather than a mouse. I am using Windows 7 professional 64bit. Right now it's kind of hit and miss. The walls of the house are double sided and right know I have to make an outline on one side; push it to the other side and than retrace lines around the "pushed out "side and than erase the area I wish removed. This works most of the time but sometimes I have to repeat the proccess several times before it works. Is this a problem with the touch pad drivers or is this a problem with with windows 7 (maybe sketchup is not Touch Pad friendley). Any help would be appreciated
