1.5 isn't open beta yet, right? I started giving Podium a try again this week, but render time for me has been extremely slow. I want to use it, hopefully 1.5 is what I need, otherwise I'll just stick with Kerkythea for now.

It would make a great cover for a Christmas card.
I think I am going to make it into a card, along with a snowman version aswell...
I think they would both make GREAT cards!

Hi All,
Here's a little "update"...
I showed this to one of my friends, who happen to be the owner of a carpenter company...
He asked me if I could make a Holiday card with his logo and color... So I did...So I guess you can say that I'm into this holiday card business now...
Now that I really like! Adding the plans, hammer, and such, underneath, makes it just fantastic!

RE: Finally, Some Podium Work
I like that indoor water park! And "Big Slide"- o my goodness. That ride looks vicious!
I can just see someone a little too overweight going down that thing full speed, and hitting that vertical spot and launching up into the air. Weeeee!!

The columns are so much a part of the character of the space, it is a shame they blend into the shadows.
You might try two false self emitters (very tall and and narrow placed just beyond and between the columns and aimed at the columns.
It will change the whole character of the scene.
Being false you can see right through them, but they should wrap a beautiful light around those columns.
You know, you are absolutely right. Funny thing is, there is a "room" in front of those colums, with a couple tables. I really should throw some lights in there.
There also may be a small fireplace in that main dining room- anyone have suggestions on rendering decent fire?

Restaurant Interior Kerkythea (exterior to follow)
There's a restaurant in town that makes the best Stromboli I have ever had. They are doing an addition (finished) and a very nice outside area (in the near future). I decided to model the outside and render the inside, just for kicks and to improve my rendering skills (or lack of, I should say).
Render is a 2 minute Kerkythea render, set to default. I left an MLT render overnight, so I'll see how far along that came tomorrow.

To bad I can't get any animations of this. Maybe we could get CPhillips to add animation exporting to SketchyPhysics.
Ahh. I always thought it had animation.

Do you have a video of the action? Looks like so much fun!
I need to give this program a try.

A few google people that I colored in.
A couple sitting people that I colored in for a deck rendering I did.

RE: Water with SU and render engine.
I just started re-modeling a pool model I did years ago in College. I'll definitely be taking a look at this and seeing what I can do!
Now.... what kind of advice do you have on waterfalls?
