    • RE: Hide dimensions text

Thanks for the quick response! Unfortunetely my code and ruby console experience falls into a catagory between zero and ziltch. 😞 However, the images that I am producing aren't that text and dimension extensive and manually editing each one shouldn't be a problem. What is the 'input' that I replace the text with in order to have it 'invisible'?

' '... = apostrophy, space, apostrophy, period, period, period ?

      Cheers

    • Hide dimensions text

      Good day,

I have been working on graphics for a guidebook and the editor has requested my images without text. Is there any way to 'hide' all the text including the dimension text without the dimension lines and leaders changing?

      Thanks

      KA

    • RE: Why can I only open 1 SketchUp file at a time

I see I am stuck in my ways as most of the software I use is similar to Mac in that I can open multiple files in the same instance. Maybe this post belongs in the Duh thread or even in Beginners Tips...

      Thanks πŸ˜„

    • Why can I only open 1 SketchUp file at a time

Hi Sketchucators, My name is Keene and I have been using SketchUp for a few months now. It is quite the group you guys and gals have here as I have been observing on an almost daily basis and have recognized a genuine passion and care for the program and users of it.

      I use Pro 6.4.265 on a AMD Athlon 2 X2 250 processor, 3.00 GHz, 4.00 GB RAM PC with 64-bit Windows 7.

The problem I am coming across is that I cannot have 2 files open at the same time. If I am working on one file and try to start another 'New', it asks me if I want to save before proceeding. Clicking Yes or No closes my current drawing and opens up a blank (just Sang) file.

I know I have seen multiple files open by one SketchUp program before, so it can be done...

      Thanks
