Thanks you all for the great tutorials, its made my work a lot easier. Now I have a question to ask.
Attached is the drawing of the manual hydraulic press that is being used overseas to manufacture Ceramic Water Filters. (More info on the filters: http://potterswithoutborders.com/wordpress/frequently-asked-questions/ )
What we need to do now is break down the model into its separate components (Defined by color in the drawing) and then produce pdf files of their parts in plan view with metric dimensions (mm)
Then a parts list will have to be produced.
This work will directly benefit people in third world countries who are struggling with lack of access to clean drinking water. check out our website. we would love to have more collaborators. none of us are paid.
This model when complete will be sent to a factory being set up on the Ivory Coast, Ill be happy to answer any further questions.
