RE: Playing arround with Sketchup diffusion
quick tutorial to show how I use Sketchup Diffusion:
At first look for a drawing of a building, then texture a cube with it, and set the view to front view. then start Sketchup Diffusion. I typed for promt: "fassade of an old building, dirty beige sandstone" and hit "generate".
then I took the best one and hit "add scene". then I took the sketchup function "project texture" to exchange the drawing with the AI texture.
the cube is textured
some work on geometrie.... finished in less then 5 minutes....
and a quick render in Twilight Render

RE: new Renderengine?
No problem. I am still in research, what solution is good for me.
I had Rayscaper in the alphaversion, you saw about my problems. It was to early to integrate it so my workflow for my professional work (interior design), so I was testing it in my leasuretime. suddenly there were some watermakrs in the render, and I would have to pay for a betha version with many things that are still missing. So I stopped testing it, and start looking for a fishished product.
I don't know at what point the developpment of raysacaper is right now but at the moment if left, it was really still aplha.

RE: Playing arround with Sketchup diffusion
a funny weekend project.
some years ago, I was 3D scanned and they made a small 3D Modell of my body.
I scaned the small figure in3D and made a Sketchup modell of it.
The I renderd it in Sketchup diffusion and put it in stable diffusion img2img.
upscaling with my Lora and a reActor Faceswap.nice result....

RE: new Renderengine?
@jo-ke always the newest version.
I have 2024 but I am still using 2023, because there is no exporter for Twinmotion yet and Twinlightrender doesn't work in 2024 anymore....

new Renderengine?
Change in rendering program.
Unfortunately, Twilightrender is discontinuing its services at the end of the year.
I'm currently using Twinmotion, which does a good job for large projects, but is currently having major problems with Sketchup imports.
I'm looking for a replacement for Twilightrender.
A program that achieves quick results within Sketchup.
I tried Rayscaper but unfortunately the program is not yet developed to the point where I can use it without any problems.
Is Vray an option for me?

RE: Modelling a tramway
Scene: WestGermany in the late sixties.
I love the sketchup diffusion app.
All textures of the buildings are created with sketchup diffusion. AI is brilliant in creating dirty surfaces.
the scene is composed in sketchup
the picture is rendered in Twinmotion with Lumen.

RE: Modelling a tramway
Background created with midjourney, then I made an overlay in sketchup with my tram model, for perspective, then I rendered the tramway in Twilightrender.
I merged background and tram in photoshop, little color correction. -
RE: Many projects
Cabinet under the stairs.
modelled in Sketchup, rendered in sketchup diffusion, merged in Photoshop
