    • RE: Import images at size?

SketchUp does not choose the size of an image based on the pixel count of the image.

So you want it to import at 14.2" x 14.2" ? That is the 1024 / 77. Or what size (in inches or mm) are you thinking it should come in at? The way to do it is to import the image, click once inside the model to locate the base point for the image. Then type in a desired width and hit enter. It will put it at the size you specify.

Or if you are importing it as a material, just make a face that is the exact dimension that you want the image to be and apply the image to that face on import. That way you can get it to come in at exactly the right size.

      Hope that helps,

      Chris

I have about 60 images to import, so I was hoping they would come in at size. For instance I have one that is 65px x 65px @ 72ppi, upon import it shows up larger than the wall I want to put it on which has a surface area of over 132 feet.

    • Import images at size?

      Hello All,

I've created a scale model of an interior in SketchUp. I have images that were sized to the same scale in Photoshop. However when I import them into Sketchup they come in much larger than they should. Is there a way to import them at size (which is less than 1024 x 1024 @ 72 ppi)?

      Thanks.
