When was common sense replaced by "gotta use a computer"?

State regulators said Monday that they intend to revoke the license of a Salem nurse after she failed to get emergency treatment for a mentally disabled man in time to save his life.
Registered nurse Anne Christopherson passed up opportunities to call 9-1-1 or take the seriously ill man to a nearby emergency room, according to records obtained by The Oregonian. He died in a parked car while Christopherson sat in her office using Google to get directions to a hospital 26 miles away.
The death of Ralph Hayes, 59, exposes continuing confusion about emergency procedures and gaps in employment screening at state-regulated homes for adults with mental and developmental disabilities.

People who use CELL PHONES and want to make it at point to others that they have them or endanger the lives others around them!
If they didn't have their hand to their head, have a Dr. Spock ear thinging, or "Brittany Spears" headset and it was a few years ago, before the time of cells, those people who be labled as stark raving mad .... walking around talking to themselves.
Someday, somewhere, I will loose it. When the ass in front of me at the grocery store checkout drives me to butt in on their conversation with a string of four letter words. Hell, if they want me to hear every stupid trivial part of their conversation it must be an invitation to include me in it. (But of course, when I do, they'll probably be some bloody Kung-foo blackbelt and make me regret I was born.)
I can't figure out if they just totally lack manners or are so insecure they'll do anything to get attention.
And how hard is it to figure what needs to be said. Just about everyday I get phone calls from someone 2 to 3 times within the same hour ... if they weren't my relatives I'd go postal on them.
There ought to be law that you can only receive calls on your cell not make them ... or should it be the other way around.
I admit they can be very useful but I still haven't got one ... just because it will probably aggrevate all things that piss me off about them.

Got the script from the ruby depot
I did what you showed above. This is how I pasted the embedded info into the ruby dialog.
Anyone familiar with this script?
I can't seem to get it to play the embedded Video link.
A window appears with the video, but then it disappears/closes after a second or two. (I carefully cut and pasted the YouTube embed info into the script dialog so it should work unless the script itself has a bug).

It works like a champ now (download new model and script).

I love the "intuitiveness" of your tools. Thank you.
So far my experimentation has only turned up the following: It seems the "left-over" vertical edges from the rounded corner are left remaining. However, at least in simple models, they are easy enough to erase.

I knew my snoring would wake someone up in the hotel.
Looks like Saturday was a good one.
The adventure was fun, Ross.

Thanks, Coen I didn't see that. Suggestion taken.
Fredo:
Your recommendation posted immediately above this one worked! Thanks for your patience.
When I unzipped your download a few weeks ago, I told it to overwrite existing files, which it did; however, just prior to that I had renamed the initial LibTraductor.rb (but forgot to changen its extension).
Moral of the story, don't mess with things when you are tired or under pressure

P.S. There was one hell of a lot of discussion and positive response to your scripts at Base Camp 2008. Even more surprising though was number of "professional" users who were totally unaware of the forum and the work that scripters here have been producing. I hope Google WILL DO MORE to enhance (promote) the "VISIBILITY" of this forum on their sites.

Here is a link to a Google Picasa Web Album.
Feel free to downland. Some are stitched panoroma photos. If someone wants to compile these into a "master" album, feel free to do so.

When I worked at a resort 30 years ago, servers were given specific instructions about responding to the word "coke", because Coca Cola gave the resort owner specific instructions that if the "problem" persisted legal action would follow.
The resort resturant and bar served Pepsi. If a customer ordered a soft drink or even at the bar when ordering a "Rum and coke" and the server didn't respond with something like, "oh, you mean a Pepsi", then the resort could be in deep trouble. In a manner it seems a reasonalble request; however, when Pepsi signs were posted all over the place it was obvious that the customer knew what wanted when ordering. And the unforunate server would often be criticized for being idiots.
What is more reasonable to assume is that the word is now so common that it has become a general term as well as a brand name. The company has benefited far more because of this and to complain to such an extent as to regulate people's conversations when there is clearly no intent to decieve or profit was/is just plain petty.
Fredo:
I apologize for not responding sooner to your request. I just got back from the SU bootcamp.
I showed what was happening to Todd B. He indicated that it is probably a bug and that I need to show you a larger display of the Ruby Console when it is running and that it might give you a better indication of what is going on. So stay tuned.
If all else fails, I could try removing other scripts one by one and then test ... but I've got a lot installed so it would take a while to do that.
The only thing on my pc that has changed on my PC (I am running XP on my PC) within the last couple of weeks that I know of is that my IT people pushed an upgrade for IE6 to IE7. I can't see how that would cause this problem, however .. particulary since your first version on the line worked when reinstalled.
Mary, I am at PDX now, Alaska, Gate c7.

Lewis, I should be registered well before then at the Avante. Ross McIntosh may be in by then too. Check with the front desk, leave a message if need be with your room#.
I'll try "linger in the lobby" around 6:00.

Hi again, Fredo:
Well, I tried the operating some of the tools with the Ruby Console open. I'm not sure what it reported will be of any help to you.
As I mentioned before, the tools seem to work while drawing on white space (not on existing geometry). When doing so the Console reports nothing.
When moving the mouse over geometry, the Ruby Console scrolls a series of information, extremely fast. If I read the display correctly, each tool repeats as series of 3 or 4 lines of code until the mouse is stopped. For example:
1- Line Tool
LineonSurface:139:in
LineonSurface:518:in
LineonSurface:899: . . . . . when the mouse is stopped, NOTE, there is NO "in" following the "899:"
2- Circle on Surface
LibonSurface:152:in
LibonSurface:635:in
LibonSurface:899:. . . . . when the mouse is paused, NOTE, there is NO "in" following the "899:"
LibonSurface:418:in . . . when resuming to move the mouse
LibonSurface:398:in
LibonSurface:635:in
LibonSurface:899:. . . . . when the mouse is paused, NOTE, there is NO "in" following the "899:"
