What would cause a project to be blank after it downloads from 3Dwarehouse? I can download it but when it opens in sketchup it is just a blank screen? any ideas?

Hi guys i am new to this program. I am starting my own landscaping company and i was wandering if this is a good program to use for landscape designing? would like to here people feed back. looking forward to read what you have to say.
