As for extensions, do you still have SU2016 installed? If so, you should be able to see the extensions you have installed for it. If you used the Sketchucation tool to install extensions such as Fredo6's in SU2016, you should have a "bundle" available to install. Just install the Sketchucation Extension Store tool found under Resources at the top of this page, sign in and click on the gear icon at the top. Then click Bundles.

      No, I don't have SketchUp 2016 installed.
That was on a works machine.
I remember spending many weeks on configuring it just the way I wanted it.
Also installed quite a few plugins but only keeping a few that I found essential.
      I think one was "PurgeAll".
There was another one called "CleanUp3"

Forgot my old SketchUcation account so I have just created a new one.
So no record of my previous plugins.

      Thanks for your input.

    • Returning to SketchUp - Changes?

      Hi,

I am going to be using SketchUp again after a few years absence.
The last version I used was in 2016.
I have installed the latest 2021 version.
On the face of it, not a great deal seems to have changed.

Are there any significant changes I should be aware of?

Also, I used to use quite a few plugins which always seemed to me to be essential not optional tools.
Problem is, I can't remember them all. Getting old!
The names: Fredo6, TIG and thomthom stick in my mind.

Has Trimble plugged (no pun intended) the many gaps that SketchUp needed?
Or is there still a need for some essential plugins.
If so, what plugins would you say are essential?

      Any help or suggestions appreciated.
      Thanks.

      Jack Cade.
