    • RE: Printing comes out too small

      I have found the problem.

The box "Use Model Extents" was checked.

To find this screen go to File>Print, then under the section titled Print Size there is a check box in front of "Use Model Extents." This box was checked, I unchecked it and my printing size returned to normal.

Can anyone teach me what "Use Model Extents" means? I have no clue what this is for or how you would use it. Any commments?

      Always learning.

    • Printing comes out too small

i am a relatively new user of Sketchup.

I have printed 100's of prints with no problem and many of this same model, but all of a sudden when I print or print preview my image is thumbnail size. I can not get the image to fill the paper size.

I have checked page setup, select 8.5X11, tried Normal sized printed, fit to page, scaled printing all with the same results.

I am just a basic user and have barely touched on the power of Sketchup, but I must have clicked on something that changed the size of the printed image. I fill the screen with as large as image as I can get but when I print I only get a very small thumbnail in the center of the page.

      Help!

    • RE: Problem with Dimensions

Thanks Sawduster...I will try that. what is weird I will try and try to get a certain dimension to "stick" and will finally give up then move to another and it will work as designed. I have even tried to redraw the lines the dimensions will not stick to thinking that they may not "be correct" but that does not work either.

    • Problem with Dimensions

      I am a new user.

I have designed a very basic garage, the drawing is complete. I have been adding dimensions with no problem and I am almost finished, but the last few dimensions will not lock between the lines I attempt to select...I just get a yo-yo effect. Clicking or using enter has no effect. Everything has been fine until now...what is wrong?

      Thanks in advance,
