    • New to Sketchup Questions

Hello! I am new to Sketchup, and decided I wanted to make my new computer desk out of 80/20 Aluminum. Their products can be added to the components folder which I already did. I selected the component I wanted to use, and now I am curious to know how to set the height and width of a selected part without having to do it manually, I wanted it easier and simpler to be able to input my dimensions and go about the next component. How do I do this with a selected piece?

First project ; Model a desk out of 80/20, simply by getting the 80/20 components and sticking it in the components folder. I am planning to build a desk πŸ˜› πŸ˜„

    • Hello everyone!

Hello everyone! I'm new to these forums, and decently new to SketchUp for that matter, however I have been doing some general computer graphics for years now via Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Not only that, I'm a wonderful artist, at least in my opinion, in real life. I have been coding for a few years now, and figured it'd be good to start with SketchUp, and start getting the groundwork laid out to be able to create something in SU and code it into a game. On other notes, I am also taking college level classes in my high school for computer graphics. I'm very happy to be on these forums, and I'd love some tips of any sort, any will be appreciated!
