    • RE: Finishing terrain model need to drape and stamp

      Hello Sean

Is your terrain a component? I think you need to have it totally softened 180 degrees, or make it a component before you drape.

Shrip farming, eh? Sounds fun πŸ˜„

Oh and to edit the lines in a component, I would edit it. This can be done by double-clicking the component.

      Good luck!

I'm sure you could get an aireal view from Google Earth, but do you want to just get a "floor plan" type of view? Or do you perfer blueprints?

    • RE: My Models (~goldenfrog~)

I know I'm quadruple posting 😳 , but I post as the update is needed.

So far, this is my best car attempt.

The pic has wheels by Rogue. Thanks Ben.
EDIT! To keep from septuple posting, I will edit my post each time an update is called for.

Here, as you can see, I have made my own wheels.

      Revised boot.

Doing alot of work here. πŸ˜„

I'm using the "greens" style, kept getting the normal style (white faces) mixed up with the white of the blueprints.

      πŸ˜„ Thanks Shams.

I will continue the work this evening when I have some time, right now, back to studies! I'm studying the human heart.

Anything new from you? Besides your museum I mean.

So that interior is...shall we say, rather large? πŸ˜†

Wow. It's added about 2MB to the file size, eh?

Thanks Rogue. I gave the hood a shot, but it turned out quite a mess, so I took it out. Today, I'll try again.

    • RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!

      Ben

Can I see some exterior shots of the Milano? I have gotta see a model with that big a file size... 😲

As for the link to my thread: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=23865&start=45

It is, as I said before a muscle car, based on the ford mustang 2009 model. Can't get any more specific than that... πŸ˜†

The roof panel has a seam to separate it from the column panel.

The windscreen was all manually meshed, but I got it somewhat neat, If I may say so...

Right now, fellows, I'm working on a muscle car concept. If Scott Para is reading this, I am now modeling to scale, you can see Sang's shadow in the attached image. I'm lovin' the mesh. The hidden geo is on.

I know what you mean. Fredo does make excellent plugins. I have the joint push pull . Quite helpful.

Hope they help you to work faster and better! πŸ˜„

Yes, I have gotten into the same habbit. When i open a image in photo gallery every now and again i click and drag to orbit (damn silly idea). Somehow my mind thinks I can orbit a 2d image to see more of it.

You think you have a bad habbit...I try to orbit when I'm using microsoft word!! πŸ˜’ πŸ˜†

Do you use any plugins? If you dont, your work could be even better if you download some of the good ones. I have the tools on surface, its very useful.
