I've purchased a new iMac because my PC was ready for the trash can. Being familiair with mac in the past I decided to buy a brand-new one. The best, I though, I could find.
3.4 Ghz Intel Core i7.
4 GB memory 1333 Mhz DDr3.
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2
I've imported a very simple cad drawing (2d) into sketch up. I've never seen sketch up this slow. This is totally not workable.
I've tried to import the same autocad 2D drawing on the PC in sketch up and it works like a charm. (This is an 5 year old PC)

What is happening? This is not what I've signed up for....

Any help would be very appreciated!!
