Great Plugin, i really like it, however, just a quick question.

when i have a panel, and i apply extended entities information to it, and then for some reason i use fredoscale to alter to size of the panel, the extended entities disappear.

one more, I design kitchens and use groups as a way of "holding" the components together whilst moving and scaling the cabinets to fit. is there a way of getting the exporter to recognize the components inside the group?

once again, great plugin, it will save me a bit of time manually working out cabinet lists and the like.

      Thanks

    • RE: Expo Stand - First Attempt using SU

Thanks Mate, Your Blog and Cadtutor Posts had inspired me to take another look at SU.

After Downloading Fredo's Plugins last night, i am excited about using SU to its full potential.

I will source a render program and look into buying the pro version of SU later in the year.

3d in Autocad is hard work after using SU. πŸ˜„

a rough and ready image of a proposed display that actually went into production.

i am still learning to use SU after many years using Autocad for 3d.

you can see the image needs to rotate to the left

    • RE: A Welcome Message to New SketchUcation Members

Hi, im new to this forum, and have decided to look into sketchup after seeing some of the great renders that a few members here have posted over at cadtutor.

background is in autocad / max-viz and coreldraw, but i am looking at SU for some Expo stand design work i have coming up. I hope to have SU as a rapid concept design tool that i can then use for a finished rendered product for approval.

i will have to look into the Tut's and get my head round the workflow process. i have alot of 3d solid models in acad that i hope to be able to drop into SU and apply quick mats and logo's to.
