5 IES Spotlight effects (including SU model and IES files)
Hi All,
I would like to share with you the spotlight (IES effect) that I most use for my works in Twilight Render.
For me the quality of Twilight in terms of lighting and clarity is the same if I compare with Vray For 3ds Max, except that Twilight is much more easyer to setup and to use...
These Files can also be use for other rendering Software.Hope you enjoy my sharing, good render to all..!!!

A bedroom with Twilight Render
Hi all,
I have just purchase Twilight and here is my first try...
I use the "low parameter" and 35 minutes after here is the result...
I am very happy and surprise, this renderer is very easy to understand.
It is exactly what I need to work. Very Clear result, IES Spotlight effect, etc...I have decide to don't use Vray for SU again.
Of course there is some stuff that I have to arrange on this first try...
Congratulation to Twilight

RE: Twilight render...
Hi all,
I have just downloaded the trial version , and it seems that this renderer is more working with SU than Vray. Background, lighting (spotlight IES) very easy to setup.
But It seems also that if you want to have a nice result like Vray or other, It take more time to render 4 hours etc...For me the rendering system look like Podium. But it is true that Twilight is very easy to understand. Very good soft, I will buy it to explore another way to work with SU.
Cheers, Fred
And I forget to say something:
Vray have a serious outsider here. For exterior and interior rendering... (Hope that they will change some details on Vray For sketchup...)

RE: Reed-texture
Hi remon_v,
Here is my try to help you to solve the displacement problem that you have.
For this kind of texture, I would prefer to use a displacement map like attached here.you can see the result:
- Use this map for the displacement at 0.15 in the material setting
- And in the render option, change the EDGE LENGTH PIX parameter from 4 to 2.5.
I hope that this try help you, Cheers Fred.
