Good to see you are getting into the "nuts and bolts" of trusses.

Suggestions:
Most structural items will require "computations and sign off" by a registered
Engineer here in Australia and NZ.

I would suggest having a "simple truss or hide detail" option that will just show the
design intent.

Hence:

1. The architectural designer can show just the "simple layout" for design development.
2. The architectural designer can then show "detail where required" as in design development and final sign off with the client and relevant consultants.

More Graphics Please
Where possible add symbols and graphics to aid the user in data input.
Also, suggest breaking up data input into logical "sets" or "common areas for easier input"

At present your "data input menus" are a long list of items that does not suggest
on first viewing the "logic for data entry".

irisVR Prospect

irisVR is an American startup based in New York
that is producing impressive software for VR viewing.
irisVR is excellent software for VR viewing that appears more advanced than SketchFab and qrVR.

The main software called Prospect is in Beta but functioning well.
There has been no indication of costs or plans to date.
It can be used now for free.
Note the required computer specifications for
operating the software is high.

My Views and experiences with Prospect.
I have looked at a VR house model in a cardboard viewer
and recently irisVR Prospect using HTC Vive goggles.
The viewing cubicle was 4m x 4m x 3m ht.

The VR cubicle was set for 1:1 scale so it appeared that I was actual in the kitchen and then
the bathroom. It was as though I was in the real rooms of the house. The only clue that it was not real
was the washed out effect of the walls and the pale colours and materials.

However, the effect was truly amazing and I believe this phase in architectural visualization
will be a "quantum" leap. This exponential change is only just beginning.
I can not wait to see what the following months bring as the software is refined and improved.

I am curious about the "white" membrane, is there to be a concrete slab poured?
If so what was the construction sequence?
If it is a moisture barrier how is it protected?

A few suggestions for improvement:

1. ORBIT VIEW should be a stand alone function outside of SCENES.
   It is a valuable tool that can be used often. At present, it is "LOST" in SCENES
   for those users that are not aware of its existence.

2. Sunlight should be noted by its geographic location, is it for Northern or Southern Hemispheres?
   A NORTH arrow would assist in checking of the plan against that which is showing.
   Often the user will forget to show this on their plan. Option to SHOW or HIDE NORTH ARROW
   would be helpful.

3. Suggest a simpler Font Style for naming Scenes. Current font is not "elegant or gives the look
   of quality" Arial is a safe font to use.

4. LIGHTS should have the option to increase intensity.
   The current COLOUR selection is too hard to use, try to use simpler bar sliders with better
   control.

5. SECTION SLIDERS - Is it possible to set AXIS for a specific building's orientation rather than
   the AXIS of the PROJECT?

All in all, a very good WebGL Viewer which has the potential to be better.

Suggest an "access opening" in the stud spacing for any future inspection or maintenance.
Centre location would be logical, miss one stud and design support for floor joist.

I assume they are Simpson Strong-Tie HDU2-SDS2.5 (as noted in your Skp model - entity info)
but why so far from the bottom plate - bolts to be added later or in situ?

I support the other posts but would not go as far as saying "naughty".

Within a 24 hr period a lot of downloads could have occurred.
Now you will have a group of users that may be out of step.

Glad to help, you are doing a great job.
I and your supporters benefit by assisting you to:

1. get the message out about your plugins
2. offer encouragement and aid to you where practicable
3. suggest ideas for improvement.

In regard the use of the 3D WebGL viewer.
I suggest this message should be repeated by yourself say every 3 months.
The reason is new viewers will most likely not be aware.

I have been downloading plugins etc for over 5 years and never realized the 3D Viewer was there.
I only became aware of it when we discussed the use of Kubity (now qrVR) to complement
your postings.

Kubity offers a smoother and more varied look at your models but has the drawback of not
currently having the option of showing lines. I think for your really complex models that
show "everything" Kubity (qrVR) offers added benefits. This will of course
increase in its applications of using Tour (scenes) and Walk (walk through) for PC.
(available now for i-phones, i-pads and tablets.

The "Max Truss Height" I assume is the red dashed line in the diagram.
To add clarity would a small red dash line after the menu text help?
