    • RE: Tools / Ways / to animate my sketcup created objects

Emerald, thank you for the quick reply. Keyframe will get me to where I need to go, functionally. Does anyone know of a tool or program that can get me the animation function with some nice, cool looking skins... graphics, etc.. I know I'm pushing my luck, bu just want to see what's out there..

    • Tools / Ways / to animate my sketcup created objects

I've been working on a design for some time now using Sketchup pro 8. it is a great tool. I've used the Scenes and plug in to animate my objects to show a process. it is a free plug in, and is useful, but is somewhat limited (each object is limited to 4 moves / scenes).

I hope someone can suggest another plug in, or a different software program (import my sketchup objects) that will allow me to have some nice versatility, maybe add some nice textures, etc. This will be a very simple set of moves, rotations, and placements (kind of like building blocks). I would also like to use this as a marketing video on a webpage.

Hope someone can help. I'm not a CAD guy, but love sketchup as it is very intuitive. hope there is something that I'll be capable of doing on my own without a night course... πŸ˜„
