    • RE: Layers with Components

It's possible. We have a small number of components we use regularly that I could change, however, that doesn't stop someone else from being lazy and bringing a new one in however they want and not changing the layers beforehand.

I think I may get an effect similar to what I want if I delete the layers I don't want and move them to the default layer. It seems to still allow me to control what I want for the most part..

    • Layers with Components

I am trying to create a template that will be used for project presentations for layout and site logistics. I have created a group of layers that fit my needs but when I bring in other components they bring in their layers. I can change the layer of the component but the pieces that make up the component are on different layers. In order to change each one I would have to go into each piece and change the layer. Some of the components have multiple groups nested in them. Once I change the layer I want to purge the unused layers from the project. I could bring in a component and delete the layers and change them to the layer I want, however, if there are multiple I can't do this with Layer0, also if I were to bring in multiple components there is the possibility that other pieces are on the same layer as a different components pieces. Is there any other way I could merge the layers from one layer to the one I want without the hassle of trying to delete each one or edit each piece.

      Thanks,
      Evan
