Thanks for your replies. I have another question and a comment. I am using the free version
of SketchUp. Do these suggestions apply to the free version. I will not be buying the Pro version because this is a very small and short project. I am making layouts of floor plans and furniture placement for our new Retirement Village apartment that we will move to next year. I had a very large CAD program once up on time some years ago and that went the way of all flesh. I think it was a DOS AutoCAD!!!
I am having problems making either one of the suggestions work so that is the reason for the question.

Hello,
I cannot seem to find how to copy items, like furniture images, from one file to another file.
Is this possible? I change the room layout from time to time but would like to copy the furniture images without having to recreate them.
