1. - emboss gear with parameters used to create it(3D text): T-48, Rad-10", ...
2. - emboss gear with MSPversion used(3D text): MSPv[1.2, ...
   OR surely those values could be in the entity!?]
3. • additional gear styles (rack, worm, and internal ring)
4. • improve calculations and accuracy
5. • web dialog UI (additional input params and auto-calculations)
6. • gear properties/specs dialog via context menu
7. • improved validation

YOU MAY WAN TO BE AWARE OF THIS:
Unless I keep a separate record(messy) I have no idea what version is running

• Extensions Menu shows: SPGears_mjg(no version)

so I did this:

• in Plugins folder
  /// I renamed SPGears_mjg.rb to SPGears_mjg_v1.0.rb(may need to remove)
  /// and I placed the SPGears_mjg_v1.2.rb

• Extensions Menu still shows: SPGears_mjg
  /// but the new ShatfDiameter options shows in the SPGears Parameters dialog
  /// thus it is running the SPGears_mjg_v1.2.rb
  /// tried the Shaft Diameter... creates no centered hole for the shaft at all ?

Also, creating 2 beveled gears of different radius.. 48 and 24 teeth
Number of Teeth: 48 24
Pressure Angle: 20 "
Pitch Radius: 10" 5
Face Width: 3" "
Helix Angle: 0.0 "
Bevel Angle: 45deg "
Shift Diameter: 0.5, or 0.375, or 0.3125 "

The teeth line up at the large(outside) face end, but fail to line up at the small(inside) face end

• Is this due to incorrect/missing parameters?
• (can you point to some instructions?)

I created a floor (static mesh), and a ball and a cube both compounds
I tilted the floor (5)
...Friction ON

Play:

• Ball rolls to the edge of the floor and stops! ?
• Cube does not even move

...Friction OFF

• both roll/slide off the floor and disappear in the abyss

I wait for 10 15 secs,

• the floor's front face disappears so the inside of the floor can be seen,
• and from that face the floor melts away until it reaches the back right corner
• then it melts from the back right corner to the left one and vanishes!

Also if using any SketchUp commands, for example, to realign the scene
then the behavior of objects and mouse pointing and other function go to the abyss of absurdity

WIN 7 Pro, SketchUp Pro
Pardon my green-ness, but I installed 1.0 and realized there is now a 1.2
I installed 1.0 via some link here, NOT the ZIP!
I want to install 1.2

1. Where is the 1.2 download link? no download link on that page
   or how to install from zip, since the 1.2 zip extracts an .rb file NOT an .rbz!?

2. It recommends to uninstall old versions!? HOW is that accomplished!?
   I see nothing in the menus to uninstall extensions.

3. One thing I noticed on 1.0: the handle(cursor) does not want to latch on to the best inferred handle... it seems to snag around it and latch on to any other close point
