    • Drapery to follow a curved track?

Hi all, I'm new to sketch up and have been going through this and the tutorial thread trying to find an answer.
I am trying to model a theater that will have a curved drapery track mounted on the ceiling with the drape hanging below it. I have created the track by making my extrusion and using follow me to curve it ( simple L shaped curved track 12" radius at the one bend).
I want to hang drapes from it showing them stacked in the short leg, then again open along the entire length.
I found a couple of demo sample drawings I can modify for the straight stacked section. But I want to find a way to have the pleats spread out and follow along the curve and the long side to show them closed.
Is there a way to do this? Can I create a component and have it copy itself along a line using follow me? I tried this and couldn't make it work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ( especially by my wife who thinks I should just draw this with a pencil and paper)
