Hello,
I just got a laser engraver (Xtool D1) and design and then export .dxf files from Sketchup pro. Their software (Laserbox Basic) does seem to recognize my shapes as closed so I can't use their "fill" option to fill/engrave in between the lines. This is what I heard back from the Xtool FB group: "it's likely that your original isn't being recognized as closed. The lines need to be welded so they are actually connected." I have tried different export options without success. I'm looking for some advice regarding Polylines with width, Wide line entities, etc. Thanks.

How to keep arc from segmentingGreetings, I wonder if there is a way to prevent an arc from segmenting. Sometimes when I draw a 2D form with an arc and then Push/Pull it, the new curved surface looks very rough. If I then undo the Push/Pull and try to select the the arc, I see it has become many segments. This is also tedious when selecting a path for the Follow Me on a segmented arc. Is there a way to prevent this segmenting or to combine a series of segments into a single line? Thanks
